Subject-Wise Preparation
- English
The main focus of English Preparation should be on comprehension and grammar, as the questions usually involve – phrases and idioms, spelling, grammar, and passages.
- Reasoning
Reasoning questions can be moderate or can be very confusing at times. Candidates should make sure that they focus on the key topics from the reasoning section. So, you need to focus on logical and analytical reasoning, blood relations, syllogisms, circular seating arrangement, linear seating arrangement, coded inequalities/mathematical inequalities etc.
The reasoning questions are also tricky because of the negative marking. So practice, and stipulate a certain amount of time for these questions during the exam, and don’t waste too much time on one question.
- General Knowledge
General Knowledge preparation can be done simultaneously with other subjects. Your Preparation should focus on Indian history, awards, agriculture, politics, finance and insurance, Indian economy, taxes, budget, currencies, sports, agriculture, and geography.
- Quantitative Aptitude
This section will test your speed, accuracy and calculating skills. This section is generally considered as complex as compared to others and should be prepared with formulas, concepts and practice extensively to keep your timing in proper check.
